PHEAC needs the help of the local community to assist Indigenous People in Port Hedland. We have a small number of members at PHEAC, that are predominately made up of 3 Directors and 5 members. Any Indigenous person who resides in or around Port Hedland can apply to be a PHEAC member as long as they are over 18 years of age. As a member your role will be one of discussing PHEAC future endeavours, have a say in the running of the Corporation and be a valuable member of the community. Members must follow the Corporation Rules and treat others with respect. Being a member does not mean you are responsible for the Corporations debts if it is wound up. A person volunteers to take up this position as there are no fee paid to sit on the board.
To become a member a person needs to apply in writing, be eligible, Directors need to agree and then a person shall become a member.
