Funding and Support

PHEAC provides funding to assist Indigenous Communities by providing funds to support projects that other non-for-profit organisations are conducting with a connection to improving Aboriginal Health and Education.

Application for funding can be made using the PHEAC Funding Application Form.

If you application is successful you will be notified via email and receive a letter advising all the relevant details.  PHEAC will usually fund between $500 to a limit of $10,000, however this is up to the discretion of the Board.

The areas that PHEAC wish to emphasise as a guide to applying are the following:-

  • Food and Nutrition Programs for all ages of Indigenous People.
  • Health and Well being Programs for all ages of Indigenous People.
  • Early Childhood Education Programs
  • Youth Leadership
  • Support for Students attending University or taking on further studies
  • Youth Sporting Endeavours/Travel expenses to go to training in Perth & other States
  • Music Endeavours  for all Indigenous ages. (Music is  healing and assist with dealing with grief, trauma, loss etc, and is a form of sport) Travel expenses, Recording, Music Equipment and or Lessons.
